and in my case (OSX Safari) I can't even get rid of the bloody advert in order to sign on. I ended up clicking on the forgotten password link, then clicking backwards to the login page.

It doesn't look like there's been a reply to your request, on the thread at least, so here's a screenshot showing how the offending advert pops up before you've had chance to type in any ID or PW details to log in to PH.
