What's with the empty threads?

Series of threads below titled "can't reply to threads" which just say "nothing to see here" when opened.

I guess that proves the OPs' points.

What's going on then?

The database had an issue last night - this morning it seems resolved, but during that period it didn't record some replies to threads (or the first post in a new thread creating empty topics).

For those a bit more technical it seems to be a locking issue on the replies table that got in a twist.
