Posted thread has lost pictures

I recently posted a thread with pictures and all was ok for a couple of weeks but now some pictures are missing with just a symbol replacing them.
If you click on the symbol the picture displays on a different page (Thumbsnap) so the picture is there, it just will not display on the page.
Whats gone wrong?

If your host has removed them then the images will not appear, it's not a PH thing AFAIA.

Hey, read the post, "Big" Al. Where does it say that the host has removed the pics?

The links are wrong. They may have always been wrong (but then they wouldn't have displayed correctly in the first place).

For example, the first one that shows the little X-box. The link is:

http://thumbsnap.com/sc/NrkOWwVC.jpg

which, when clicked, converts to: http://thumbsnap.com/NrkOWwVC?src=tsd

Which is a page, not an image, and thus the x-box displays.

If you change the link to:

http://thumbsnap.com/sc/NrkOWwVC.jpg?0615

It should display the correct image:
