Pop ups

Can someone explain if its my pc that is screwed or is everyone else experiencing a huge amount of pop ups on ph, its got to the stage where im about to not use ph no more?

my pop up blocker is set to 11, ive done a virus scan, cleared my history yet I still get 3 or 4 floating ads at the side of the page every fking time I change a page.

its a bloody nightmare....so has ph ruined their site or is it my pc

I'm not aware of any pop up ads and to the best of my knowledge, there certainly shouldn't be any, certainly not in the forums. We have expanding ads but not pop ups.

there used to be ads at the top and occasionally during the text in the thread, now a I counting 3 - 4 every page. is this ph that has decided this as its frustrating as hell.

We haven't changed the ad format in the forums for at least a year. If you're seeing something different I'd suggest a virus scan.

thanks, obviously was my pc, tried scan after scan had to reset it, now the 3 or 4 annoying as hell adverts no longer occur. ah bliss.
