It is temperamental at the moment - still trying to get hold of someone at thumbsnap to diagnose there end as it seems to be some experimental code they are running for users - so some get it and some don't.

Sorry about any issues you may have experienced. I just received 2 emails from here about the issue today.

Could you describe the problem further (or even better, take a screenshot of the issue)? Is this only happening on iPhone/iPads or desktop browsers too?

I just tested on desktop Chrome and iPhone (iOS 7) and the embedded upload worked correctly on both:
