I've asked the question from the techies as to why it doesn't appear in the directory search, should get a reply tomorrow.

Techie here....

The members directory only shows those members who have had their emails verified and they have not been deleted. It looks like billynomates email address has become unverified (which happened to another member recently too). So we need to investigate what is going on there.
