Free Adverts in Classifieds ?

I did have a quick google before posting this so forgive me if this has already been covered: I have been a member since mid 2000s and used to very gratefully post the odd advert which i could do for free - has that now changed under Haymarket?

I also am unable to log into the classified using the email address i am fairly certain i last used a number of years ago - who is the best person to contact regarding this, fairly certain i used to email a chap called Matt about this years ago but i cannot find his email address..

Only profiles before a certain date can advertise for free. You fall well outside of that. Drop an email to [e-mail]

I may have a duplicate account going on as have been a member for much longer than this profile states, either way, will contact them on the address you provided with all the email addresses i could have used past and present and see what can be done.

Duplicate profiles are not allowed and will be banned by default.

I think the difference is i have had an account with the classifieds for many moons, yet only signed to the forum a few years back and i believe the two accounts could be different, although cannot login any longer to classifieds so have emailed the staff..

Could you perhaps expand on this? Perhaps explaining, 1) what the cut off criteria are, and 2) what the logic of the structure is?

VorsprungDurch - you do have grandfather rights with us, you just may be logging in with the wrong details. Please log into the classifieds with the user name NeilRoss. If you need a password reset, request it using the user name, not email.

To clarify, all forum members who signed up before Jan 1st 2009 will receive free adverts on the website. This is for long standing forum members, not classifieds
