I'm getting this a lot over the past couple of days.

Is it me or you please?

The home page isn't working, but if you hover over 'New' 'Buy' and 'Sell' etc, the links are working.

I'm only referring to the forums, I don't visit any other areas.

I've had the same the past couple of days browsing the forums. I'd either get occasional slow page loading, not responding errors, or a jump to 99% cpu usage requiring a quick close of the page to stop it.

It's been fine today so I've assumed it was probably related to a dodgy banner advert slipping through the blocking software causing the page load / memory usage issues. I've also noticed that in place of any banner adverts I've been getting this showing instead:

script type="text/javascript" src="http://pixel.adsafeprotected.com/jload?anId=5221&advId=46947&campId=5476544&pubId=1180&adsafe_par&bidurl=http://www.pistonheads.com/gassing/

Looks like you might have malware.

I am having the same issues. Seems to be only PH causing issues - sometime crashing IE. I am running Windows 8.1.

Typing messages is a pain.

Just had the forums section crash twice on me and typing is becoming slower and slower.

I've noticed the page just keeps refreshing every second (literally) and is making using the forums a real pain in the ar$e.

My laptop fans are going crazy as well.

What is going on PH?

According to task manager, my memory usage on IE for Pistonheads.com is over 600mb and 35% of CPU.

Something's not right!

And I'm guessing what we should do next is "try rebooting"?

on my ipad it has become a nightmare since apple have updated. Any website is fine until I try to open a topic on PH then it will just refresh then say '' theres a problem with this page'' once its on it will only load half the page up or freeze the ipad.

Mine seems to have gone back to normal again after several days of it crashing.

RE : Ipad - I have given up using my Ipad 1 on the internet. Since the upgrade to IOS5, it has made the thing obsolete. The Ipad is now as useful as my old ZX81 (now used as a door wedge!!)

I'd agree with that. Everything seems to be back to normal now.

Thanks PH. thumbup
