Moderation in Porsche General
Discussion
I've read three posts recently in Porsche General about a persons experience with a company or relating too it, two have been removed and a third locked.
Why are these posts being removed so quickly by the moderation team when there is nothing in there naming the company ?
If you look at 911uk you will see a current live post in the members lounge entitled (specialist name) - Poor Service where it outs a company and even names them in the title of the post.
If other forums can get away with this why can't Pistonheads ? This forum was always famed for its banter and being close to the line (in most cases well over it) what has changed ?

It's up to other forum owners to decide whether having potential legal action against them doesn't bother them. It's also because Haymarket are an easy target due to the size of the company - thus having quite a bit of money. The no naming or shaming rule goes back to Petrol Ted's days, so it isn't the case of the rule being a recent addition.
