Help please.... wrong username kept?

Who should I contact about the fact that I confirmed recently that I would like to retain my old username 'Brightyellowtvr'. I went to login and you seem to have kept a ghost one I set up ages ago? (this one)

Also hoping my 12 years of car histories be retained?

Ok thats great news, however it won't allow me to logon with that profile and when I put in my email for password reset, it defaults to this one and not the other one?

I can't see any reason why your other username doesn't work, it's still active.
One of the other mods may be able to check your password for you?

Morning Jon, had at look at both of your profiles and whilst I can't actually read your passwords (they're encrypted) they are identical as are your email addresses.

So, there is no reason why you can't log into both profiles.

You will eventually have to relinquish one as dual profiles are not allowed.

Great - Thanks for your replies (on a Sunday! as well!)

Ok so I can log in fine with both logins and the same password.

The confusion my end was that when I asked for the username reminder using the email account the ukjonnyboy one was returned, this then got me thinking that you had completed your 'duplicate' removal of profiles following the recent emails asking for clarification of which accounts we wanted to keep.

So all fine now and thanks again for your help..

I'm not rising to the bait, lol! Its fine & so far 100% reliable since I have had it, at least 35,000miles, many of the recent ones raising money for charity
