I've noticed an increasing problem with duplicate posts by people of the same post.

This seems to be due to a delay that seems to be erratic, ie. not always happening. Sometimes there is no delay from clicking 'Post' but othertimes it appears nothing happens... then you press Stop and 'Post' again and it works. But by then multiple posts are up.

Is this anything at the server end?

(im sure that doesn't make sense in the slightest! )

Occasional delays are inevitable be it due to database bottlenecks or delays on the link across the 'net.

I'll introduce an anti-flooding mechanism to prevent duplicates at some point.

Happened to me this evening - I ended up getting 3 replies in one thread.
I deleted two of them immediately but interestingly my post count didn't go down after the deletions.
