The image uploader

For what seems like forever the image uploader built into the forums is beta... Will there ever be the possibility of uploading multiple images at once? Why is there a 2mb limit, too?

The system we use was built by a member a few years back and uses a third party for hosting the images. The upload limit is controlled by that third party - as well as how the upload system works.

Once we have the mobile improvements across the site out, we will need to focus on some of this uploading (especially from mobile) functionality - so will look to improve, but probably not till March at the earliest.

Still doesn't actually work within IE for me, I have to switch to Chrome if I want to upload an image.

It wouldn't be hard for PH to have their own AWS and host it all themselves. You'd also get the revenue the ads make on the viewing pages.
