Truck bashing threads

Yet another pointless thread has emerged about trucks overtaking and it's the same old st.

Could the powers that be at Pistonheads spend some time on the road with truck drivers doing their daily job,warts and all. I drove trucks for the best part of 15 years and I can tell you it's one of the most stressful,thankless jobs out there.

The drivers side of the story need to be told by a trusted source and I think Pistonheads is that source.

You could say the same about any other group on the roads, be they cyclists, horse riders, reps, hooners, and the list goes on.

The common denominator appears to be that no one group will look at the roads holistically and take on board the views of others.

If there is a justifiable reason for overtaking each other really, really slowly, while holding lots of other people up, the power of reasoned discussion should be enough to make non-truck drivers see the light, surely.
