My old DanielSan profile banned?

I'll probably get banned again for this as a new account is against the rules, but can any of the mods tell me why my old account has been banned for spamming? I've not commented on anything in a way I'd remotely class as spamming, no stupid links to dodgy websites, or anything remotely pointless like all the threads that appeared together in the Motorsport section during this week, yet I've come to log in tonight and discovered I've been banned.

I know mods don't have to disclose a specific reason but I'm genuinely curious why I have been given what other posters seem to get away with.

It was considered that posting a screenshot of a game, a link to god knows where and asking for help in a childish and immature way, with many mis-spellings on a game, 3 different times within minutes of each other on threads which bore absolutely no relevance was spamming.
