Please lose unused makes from search

Hi Guys,

Do we really need every make of car from the dawn of time,
even if they aren't even available in the classifieds.
On mobile it becomes a frantic scrolling experience, and that's just for Audi!
Volkswagen anyone !

I've been here before, but to be constructive...

How about they list the popular makes, the usual stuff you'd expect, but have a box to tick that expands the list? Whilst I appreciate their desire to accommodate all makes but they're such a small number that I can't imagine their contribution in terms of advertising costs really makes much difference.

Really, how many people would use Pistonheads to buy an 'AJS', 'Adler' or an 'Alta' (I clearly couldn't be bothered to search more in the massive list) instead of a more specialist website?

It's a key area where I just can't be bothered and continue to use Autotrader.

While you're at it, please can you stop classifieds defaulting to selecting all models of a given marque? I know it's not a big deal to click "Deselect all" but it's non-sensical - no one looking to buy a car will be looking at every possible model that they sell.
