Ditto - there seems to be a bit of javascript messing with the input.
I'll go so far as to suggest it's that "post_char_count" monstrosity that's supposed to prevent anything over 4000 characters being posted. I know it's polite to tell people they're too verbose
, but what's wrong with just setting a maxlength and letting the browser handle it ?
And if you have to keep it - stop making it do arithmetic on every single character - bad coding!
