Couldn't agree more. Sadly, if a p'header thought a subject newsworthy and merited discussion, by using such limited protocol they fail and interesting events get lost in the ether. Either that or they really have no interest in a subject anyway and are throwing grenades.

I find most intersting news worthy stuff will generate more than a single thread, so the weaker one will die on the vine.
