I was looking at the 'SUNBEAM STILETTO & IMPS' thread on GG and linked to TheImpClub Forum. The forum is quite standard but I did notice that on the 'Author' column there's a small image of the authors car. Probably taken from their profile. Would it work on PH?

I'm not a fan of avatars. On that forum they seem to have it controlled quite well, but the scope for silly images being used might set the wrong tone imho.
