The Experian banner advert causes a 'do you want to leave this page' pop up in internet explorer.

Bloody annoying.

Having passed this onto the team responsible, the below information would help them trying to get to the root of the problem:

- Did you click on the Experian banner advert?
- What operation system are you using? I assume it was a PC running windows however I can't be sure, also what version of windows?
- What version of IE are you running also?
- Do you have any pop up blockers/ad blockers installed on his the browser?
- Which Forum are you using looking in?
- What was the URL once you got through to the Experian landing page?
- Was there error message number?

I'm sorry it seems like this is the Spanish inquisition however all the above variables can alter which ad feed to investigate.

I've been getting an ad by Expedia that does the same. I'm using Windows 10 and the latest Internet Explorer, and I don't click on the ad.

The Honda Civic ad is a problem for me this morning, it comes down the page and covers the top panel of buttons. And so slow to load!

It's becoming a struggle to use the site with the bombardment of advertising. The site slows down and becoming infuriating to use.

Hi _Rich_,

It seems like your getting the ads from desktop and tablet there, and then the mobile buttons to contact the seller at the bottom, so I'm not sure what is going on! Obviously, this is not the level of advertisements we are trying to display on this page for a tablet user. For a tablet, there should be the banner ad (the Tiguan R-Line ad in you screenshot) and then on small mpu sized ad right at the bottom of the page and that is it.

Do you know what version of ios you are using? I've checked using an ipad on ios 9 and the expected amount of adverts of given.

Thanks,
Dom

So I was going to check this

Started scrolling through the (endless !!) list of makes and some ad makes that disappear

Then the Flux ad is some width larger than the page so the whole page shrinks

Back to scrolling from the beginning again

Tap Mitsubishi and a blue tick appears but the list remains

Tap again to remove list

Hmm - now what - ahh right I am supposed to click "0 items" - that obvious rolleyes

Tap away from list to dismiss

Cars display with another inappropriately sized banner so whole page shrinks by about a quarter

Clicking on the car in question I get 1 (oversized) banner at the top, though the page starts at full width

Ipad 3 IOS 9.2.1

Hi dmsims,

Thanks for your feedback. Quite a few comments are issues we are aware of but haven't got around to fixing yet. The one I'm not sure about is this one:

Could you give a bit more information to try and help me replicate this? Are you on the main classifieds page with the ipad in portrait mode?

Thanks,
Dom

I'm on iOS 9 but it has just told me to upgrade to iOS 9.2.1. Maybe it's because I need an update.

^^ This.

Far to much - and especially too large - advertising.

A month and you still have not sorted this.

Time for an add blocker.

I supposed eventually you will realise that when everybody has an add blocker because they make use of this site a nightmare, nobody will pay you for ads any more .....
