Bit random, but the past few days I'm finding safari freezing/crashing when browsing the forum on my iPad. Anyone else having this problem or just me?

I keep getting WebGL errors on every page, it's to do with the sodding adverts.

Yet again.

Ah, not just me then.

It also seems to freeze safari even if you are not actually viewing the tab the PH is open on.

Me to on safari.

Ironically, it froze while trying to view this thread.

Doing it for a few days now.

Yep, same here. Freezes up for a few seconds and then comes back to life. I think it's ad related as when it happens there are no ads displayed on the page, seems fine when ads are displayed.

I think it's something to do with a javascript issue in the Galaxy S7 advert that's displaying regularly

It's an advert.

Great, that means some time today we will get:

Adverts are not our responsilibity, we farm them out to a third party.

We will investigate and tell you it won't happen again, until it happens again tomorrow.

Is that really fair?
If it's a third party ad served up by adchoices what would it be on the PH site that results in the issue? Is it not the ad maker?

How many other websites do you visit which have such frequent advertising problems? For me, zero. Which kind of leads me to believe the problem is Haymarket's poor management of the ads, not the third party.

It's definitely that Samsung ad' and it's definitely bloody annoying.

Things like this drive people away from forums, but I suppose if the ad' revenue is rolling in, who cares...

This is getting really frustrating now, half loads a page and then just locks for a few seconds. It's making it almost impossible to browse. Also, as I'm typing this there is a delay of a few seconds so not sure sure what's going on?
