Stats for ads

I may be missing something, but why can't we see any stats for the classifieds we post? It would be really helpful in knowing how attractive the ad is being to punters. Gumtree provides stats on views, search appearances and so on, ebay tells you the number of views and watchers, and even the related Autotrader site gives you a view count. Why nothing on PH? It would be good to know how many views the ad has had, better to know how many searches it has appeared in, and even better to know how many people have bookmarked it.

I await being shot down and told that this info is all available somewhere, but if it isn't, then its a bit slack towards paying customers.
