Trying to navigate PH on my Macbook and the bloody adverts on the home page make navigation a nightmare?

Their margins encroach all over the area and clicking on them rather than your intended link is all too easy.

Scrolling down is sluggish and irritating, all I see are jumping barbecues and stuttering as I scroll down. Makes me never ever want to visit Homebase, the cause of the offending ad...

Is it just me? Can I block out all this crap and have a clean site?

OK on my Ipad.

Not a particularly good day for Apple/Mac anyway it seems.

Ad block with Ghostery will provide you with a very clean browsing experience.

I noticed this at the weekend, I don't use the Mac much so can't be sure, but I'm sure it's got worse recently. Now cured by some form of ad-blocker, although I can't remember exactly what it was.

This ^^^^

Safari is a bit ropey on an old XP box I occasionally use.

I sometimes have to wait an age before a page becomes responsive.

One day I might load up wireshark and really look into what the problem is but now PH is commercial that's not really my job.

Also don't forget to bung the lads developing adblock a few quid, you don't have to send much and they send you a really nice automated reply saying thanks smile
