Last read post is sometimes random

When I click on the icon to take me to the last read post (from eg. What's new), it usually takes me to the last post I read.
Sometimes it seem to go to a post within 10 posts (+-) of where I was.

If, however, I haven't gone to the thread before, I get dropped on a random page within the thread.

Galaxy Tab 10.1, GTI skin, std Android browser.

I'm not sure I completely understand. You're clicking the "What's New" icon at the bottom of the screen. Then instead of taking you to a list of new topics, it's taking you to the last post you read? Any further details you can give would be helpful.

I am clicking the ->[] icon after the list of page no's on say "what's new" or "my stuff", and it ends me up roughly near the last post I read, but not often on it.
If I have never visited a thread before, clicking that icon takes me somewhere random in the thread.


The "last visit" bar also is often miles after the last post I have read - I assume it should mark the last read post?

Subjectively it seems to be worse than it used to be, but I have no data for that, just a feeling.
