This morning I was trying to quote a post from the user "Who me ?", but sadly PH can't cope with this, and it subsequently breaks the quoting.

It would be nice if this could be fixed, as despite being aware of this limitation, it still took me several edits to correct the quoting.

For example:

This is ok
[quote=Who me ?]
But this should be broken

the quote should be closed here but it just wraps the line up.

ETA: I note that even the closing quote is stripped off in the post - AND - do not dare to try and preview the post...

I think it's a fault that techies are aware of, but not high on the list of "to do"

For the past 6 years at least...

It can't be that difficult.

Just delete the question mark from his username when you quote it.

I actually did that - but in the context of a multi quote it failed, and I had to remove the space as well.

Hi TonyRPH,

Thanks for your feedback. I'll record these details you have given. We are aware that the quoting is broken, especially when trying to preview posts.

Thanks,
Dom
