Request new "What car" section

GG is getting chocca block of What Car? Threads. Diesel barge for boring motorway boringness, whatever. Would the Powers That Be consider creating a new section in PH where all these can go?

I think the trouble is. What car threads account for a lot of the traffic GG. So would moving it out maybe just kill GG as a motoring chat section?

People would of course post in the wrong forum, so more moderation and moving of threads. Which just gets tedious.


And where do you draw the line. As in what is a what car thread and what might be considered boring?

You cite diesel barge what car is boring and shouldn't be in GG. So what about just general chatter about diesel barges? Should that also be moved from GG, but to where?

Also not all what car threads are titled as such. So would comparing an MX-5 to an MR2 be considered a what car?

I agree but it'll never happen. The mods are all in cahoots with each other and have made it clear that they want them to remain where they are because it suits their own personal agendas so that's the end of it.

Well it seems pretty straightforward to me.
