Do not post or link for the purposes of advertising or personal gain (including cars for sale) or cross-post across multiple forums. If you wish to advertise please use the classifieds or contact us directly. Please note that we do not allow members to advertise their own car in the forums, nor do we allow members to post asking for valuations on their current car (please use the classifieds as a guide)."
It's an MTB not a car , no attempt to bypass PH classifieds , just an attempt to get some expert input. So why the delete?

With the greatest of respect the intention of the rule is pretty clear, just because it says "car" rather than "vehicle" is a bit tenuous.
OK ..but why the intolerance,?I wade through acres of posts where folk ponder the price of Porsches/i8's or Maclaren's (the cars not the prams.)
All vehicles , and a pushbike ain't in the same league, all I wanted was some PH bike brain input

Pondering the price of a McLaren is fine. Unless you have one to sell. Or a watch in the watch section.
Fine , understand that but I'm still clueless as to value , PH bike bods seemed a resource worth listening to, I'm selling it on eBay but no idea what price to ask. Just seems a bit over rigorous imho
Anyway your place , your rules so I'll f

What does that mean?

To the OP, not having any idea regards its value is a weak argument. The completed listings button on Ebay will provide you with many examples of what they sell for if you also click the 'sold' button. The exception to this is if it's a super rare item, but as it's a MTB then that won't be an issue.
