[RESOLVED] any planned improvements to the forums?

I wondered if you guys might be looking to add a few more features to the forums to be a little more 'current' with other social networks?

• Get notifications on a thread you replied on, rather than only those you started
• bonus points for notifying if you get quoted (you seem to have the username in the markdown, so thought this might be do-able
• get notification if someone mentions your username a'la twitter or google plus
• e.g I bet @phatmanace might have something interesting to say about wombles...

I dearly love PH, just keen to see it stay current with the times.

Hi there,

We certainly have! In fact, we're quite a long way down the line with this project - members of our Board forum have already seen the designs and had a play with it... and luckily they liked it too!

I'm not sure on the timescales, but rest assured it is well underway.

I think that's a separate project, but yes - I think that's also in development too.
