[ANSWERED] why let some threads be ruined by 1 or 2 muppets?

Hi mod team,

First, I totally get that you have a tough job. No-one likes censorship, and with a site this busy, it must be impossible to make everyone happy even 50% of the time.

The thing is, some threads just get ruined by 1 or 2 people. Sometimes (common e.g in SP+L) it's the same 2-3 protagonists being dicks and ruining it for everyone else. Other times (like in http://www.pistonheads.com/gassing/topic.asp?h=0&a... it's 1 bloke that gets his keyboard on a mission to argue with every other poster on the internet, and a once interesting thread becomes a bh fest.

Do "we" not have a "stop being a plum and get over it" button?
