Adverts slow to load and affecting page behaviour

Hi. The adverts in the forums are expletively awful. I regularly have to wait up to seven seconds for them to load, often only to be greeted by a blank box outline. This means that I can't get on with typing out a reply or, if I forget or start too soon, I have to type out again as no text is present (for example the title of this thread was typed twice). It also freezes the page such that scrolling isn't an option either. To me that level of lag is completely unacceptable. Please fix it!
