Formatting gone tits up

Noticed several posts, quoting others, today where formatting is cocking up. Can't be user errors with the numbers involved.

It can be formatting quite easily - too many carriage returns after the original text - new poster quotes and doesn't see the quote so types after it and you get two replies embeded in one post

you should be able to see the issue below

Yes, thanks, but there have been so many of late, surely it can't be human error every time?

I think there is something in this. I've seen the same as you, quotes and multi quotes gone mad!

I also find when viewing on mobile (iPhone + Safari) my posts will be highlighted in blue. If someone quotes me, they don't keep the blue highlight in the quote like it does on desktop.

Same thing happening in the knob thread. Fatboys posts are mixed with mine re the caravan issue.
