I am sure these points will have been raised before, but here goes....

1) When searching threads, relevance is the default but the first thing I always do is change it to last update time. The default is then ascending, when descending would be the better default (otherwise you get results starting from 2002).

2) The classifieds is another annoyance - to many makes. It would be much better if the most popular makes were listed first, and then the really (and I mean really!) obscure. The other weird default is searching for a model - if I pick BMW I have to deselect all makes, then select the model I want. How many people are searching for every model of BMW?
