I see from a from a thread last night that this thread has been locked.
What is the reason for this and is it time to go over to Mumsnet where censorship isn't so puritanical and you can put post links to items for sale on eBay etc?

I think it's because people started posting NSFW links.

The eBay stuff was OK, but then people did a bit of Googling, and the nudity content went up dramatically as a result.

Basically correct, NSFW content isn't allowed on the forums now and far too many posts have have to be removed in the past.
