Adding URL to garage

Probably being a bit dim, but trying to add a URL to a readers thread into my garage and it won't format correctly. I've tried pasting the actual URL in, both with [url] and without, I've then tried tiny URL but that doesn't work either. Assume its really simple, but I just cannot work it out!

Come on PH, at least try and do something with this. I've updated my garage today and the URL thing doesn't format properly. It's an easy way to get to the threads about people's cars. Please sort it.

Thank you for raising this again and apologies that this hasn't been fixed. Rather than patching up My Garage, we're going to be investigating a rebuild which will address these issues. I'm unable to provide a timescale at this stage but will keep you posted in due course.

Maybe remove Member Garages if they are considered so unimportant as to leave them so broken for this long?

Given how PH is now in the business of selling cars, would it not make sense to build up "My Garage" as a rolling history, complete with threads tied to the vehicle in question, and a "selling this car" button on the profile that automatically begins the sale creation process?

It feels like you're wasting a potential USP here, nowhere else can you build ownership history to complete the car quite like this site, just look at some of the readers threads!

Well, quite. When I sold my Sagaris I provided a link to its PH profile to potential buyers as a resource and apologised for how st it was presented.

17 years of service history!
