Am I the only person irritated by that poxy yellow and black square pop up that I get to see I don't know how many times a day.

Is there any way of not seeing them without depriving Ted his income?

I think it's a heck of a lot better than the old style adverts that used to come up in new windows. It isn't particularly rational, but anything that messes with my desktop really irritates me. These new style adverts are far less intrusive, and the only thing they're obscuring is PH. That's fine as far as I'm concerned, it doesn't particularly bother me that I have to go through some not-very-interesting adverts to get to the interesting PH type stuff.

It comes up smack in the middle of the desktop and stays there until the time is up or you click close.

Poor dear... have you been to the doctor about the RSI from clicking the close button once a day?

If this sort of stuff annoys you, use firefox instead of Internet Explorer. It's a lot better anyway, you won't look back. Browsing the web can be a lot quicker and easier. That sort of pop-up aren't set to work with it.

Check ur cookies . . .

Point taken and well explained by Ted. Don't have a problem with anyone earning a living, far from it.

Just pointing out that there might be less irritating ways of doing it.
