Google, basically. Makes their details more likely to be found when someone is searching for "love problem". Cheaper than paying for SEO.

Can you not restrict new users to one new topic a day?

Just limit newly registered accounts to only being able to reply to about 10 threads before being able to start a new topic.

reCaptcha on registration. It is an absolute doddle to integrate, you can even make it invisible nowadays.

33 actually 2 spam accounts, a couple of fixes have been requested from the dev team and the request has been in for a good few months now, we wait with baited breath. Until then we'll just have to sort as normal when the spammers intrude.

Captcha and google reCaptcha are very easy to get around if you know what you're doing.
