Why aren't moderators labelled ?
Discussion
I like the open discussions on PH although it does get out of hand sometimes and threads hijacked by folk I wouldn't choose to have a beer with. However, I am curious as to why there is no Moderator label on userids ? Compared to other fora where they always seem to have them identified, PH chooses not to. Whilst I don't wish any undue pressure or aggro for Mods who generally have a thankless task, on here it seems like there is a complete absence of them which clearly isn't the case. For some of the Wild West areas (NP&E step forward), it may help to give those overstepping house rules lines a more "public" amber light rather than give them a false impression its just another poster with different views goading them ?
Apologies if the point has been raised a million times before.

It has been asked before, but it's the same answer we don't want them, most of the mods are part of the furniture and have been on PH since Moses was found in the bulrushes. If were trying to assist a new member or answer a question or point out the rules then sometime we leave a signature, i.e Site moderator.
We've found over the years that when members are hell bent on getting their points across we could have a flashing Avatar and it still wouldn't make any difference.
What we have requested from the Dev team is the ability to STICKY coloured a post (read WARNING) at the top of a thread to highlight any notices/warnings for the thread.
