Any chance of an explanation as to why the latest McCann thread was deleted and added to the other McCann threads in the moderator dungeon?

Is it a case of HM getting the jitters due to some of the off the wall comments, or have Carter Ruck been on the phone again?

For those in the know, all the previous incarnations of the McCann threads are still out there if you know where to look.

Regardless of the reasons for the disappearance, I think an explanatory note in NP&E would have been appreciated.

I expect it was removed because some members might of said the McCann's are involved with Madeleine's disappearance. I know that's why the previous McCann threads have been deleted. PH was threatened with legal action if the previous threads weren't deleted.

It was pulled because it descended into a tasteless & crass joke thread relating to song titles.
