Is there a wanted section?

For a while I've been looking for a private sale Cayman 3.4 S PDK which meets my specific requirements - is there anywhere on PH where I can place a wanted ad? The classifieds section only has a 'For Sale' category.

I'm pretty sure there isn't - would someone selling one search for a wanted add before placing an ad?

Now if I had specific requirements I'd probably do thread in the relevant specific marque area asking if I was looking for the holy grail in terms of spec or if fellow owners thought it would be relatively easy to find one with that specific spec - it might have the advantage of other PH'rs keeping an eye out for one or even flush one out

Hoping I don't get a rap on the knuckles for breaking rule 12b or some other part of terms and conditions

I think you'll find that the moderators do indeed watch for posts which are worded in such a way as to mask their real intention to be a 'wanted' or 'for sale', hence why I was trying to find out if there is any way of 'legally' placing a 'wanted' ad.

I've noticed that some dealers post 'Wanted' ads in the For Sale section on this website, I guess they're hoping that someone selling will be looking to see what else is for sale and spot their wanted ad.

Yes - there is a Wanted category in the Porsche section of the classifieds.

When you go to list an advert for sale, you'll see a box which asks you to enter a VRM. Just underneath the box, there is a "submit a wanted advert" link.
