Now I know this was covered extensively with the remodel of the site, but can the forced mobile site be removed?
Yes you can request desktop site, but if you open a link in new tab it reverts that page to the mobile site, and the mobile site really isn't working for me, apart from the look of it, I find that how it opens threads to be highly annoying.

Pick a thread to read, one you've never been on before, but it takes you to page to the last time you visited the site, not the last time you visited that thread and you end up on the last page of a thread you've never read.

Personally not seeing any benefits of the forced mobile site, especially with it deciding what page you need to visit.

Hi pits,

Apologies, but the site was switched to forced mobile because of the many various formatting issues people were having, so the decision was made to go mobile only on mobiles to eradicate these.

I can, however, report your page visit issue.

Thanks for taking the time out to give us feedback!

Not like it's been raised before wink

And Pits you might not have seen this thread - but even if you are dumped at page 89 of a thread you've never opened before it's relatively easy to get back to page 1

Wouldn't have seen it as I now mostly avoid using it on mobile, I do get the navigation there's just fluidity to the site with it either taking you to random pages or the last page it is somewhat annoying, but also finding that it changes it on desktop browsing.

Example I only go on the "poor driving caught on dashcam thread" on the laptop my last visit, as I've been keeping the tab open, was 14th October, but now I've used my phone to browse it thinks my last visit to that page was yesterday, and it never used to do that.

Also apologies for the spelling of mobile, new phone hasn't updated my old keyboard settings and keeps changing words randomly, yesterday "wrong choice" became "wing sauce"

How many existing open reports are there, out of interest? Assuming that number isn't difficult to get out of the system...
