Easy one from me Mr B'stard, how do you highlight part of a post in bold?
TIA.

[b*]put around the words you want to make bold but without the star[/b]

So it comes out like put around the words you want to make bold

A lesser-known one is that you can underline text by putting a double underscore either side of it.

Also, it's worth knowing that the formatting codes cancel on a new line. So you need to close and reopen them for each paragraph, if you are using, say, italic to show that you are quoting something from an article (and don't want to use the quote tag)

Not the case - stickiness of a thread doesn't affect anyone's ability to post to it. smile

Similarly to bold, italic, etc, there's also [big ] and [small ] (without the spaces obviously)

[big ] big text [/big ]
big text

[small ] small text [/small ]
small text

The beauty of the big function is that it stacks, meaning you can do this:

[big ][big ][big ]hear me roar![/big ][/big ][/big ]
hear me roar!

With great power comes great responsibility, so don't abuse it or they'll fix that loophole biggrin
