Pictures not displaying in classifieds

Probably an ancient issue but is there a reason pictures won't display in zoomed view in the classifieds? Seems to affect any or all of the pics in an ad, on a variety of browsers, operating systems, and devices, seemingly at random.

It's incredibly lame and infuriating.
