nuisance calls from PH advert

So I wondered how long it would take. Within about 1 hour of placing my advert on pistonheads I get the indian call centre telling me about my accident. Do they actively sit and scroll through new adverts to call or by putting my number up have the site got it stored on another database that these pondscum have access to?
