when I'm already logged in. The link was:

www.pistonheads.co.uk/gassing/topic.asp?f=10&h=&t=159217

Pasting it into open browser window also forced a new login.

I logged in (again) and pasted the link again. Once more it forced a login.

I gave up.

Forgot to say (FWIW) that the link was in www.pistonheads.co.uk/gassing/topic.asp?f=10&h=&t=159217 ("100+ MPH SPEEDING CASE DROPPED." in SP&L).

I am guessing it is because to view SP&L you need to be a signed up member.

I too am being moved to the Members page when I click the link but that is because I dont use the .co.uk entry point and hence dont have the cookie...

If the linked one was .com I could...

Although .co.uk and .com both work, it does actually create some problems in that the cookies for one are not visible for another. The same is true if you use http://pistonheads.com /.co.uk etc.

There is a case for forcing everyone to use a single domain.
