I can confirm my message and happy to forward it.

Nothing bad, quite childlike in its contents but if you goodie the email address it is odd.

How can a non member (seemingly as they don't come up on the search) use the messaging system.

Who is this mailydail?

I am going to hazard a guess that you will probably find out in a few minutes that there is nothing in place to stop them..

DELETED: Comment made by a member who's account has been deleted.
Problem is for most people their IP addresses are dynamic so you may have one IP address today, but a different one in a week
Likewise someone else may end up with your IP address

Gets into a very sticky world.

I got one from Conkedout over the Tommy Robinsons thread.

There are some strange people out there.

I think we all need to remember that the internet is, basically, a big playground and not to get too involved / worried / upset / butthurt when someone emails you a load of ste.

That's the point - it's NOT a playground. Nor is it a pub or any other type of closed off "private" space. It's a very PUBLIC space and as a result it is akin to publishing and broadcasting - and those who chose to use the internet to attack, harras or humiliate someone have to be very aware of the reach of their behaviour - and of the consequences.

Not sure I agree with that.

Yes, it's the Internet, there should be more important things in life.

But that says rather a lot about the mentality of those sending the PM's.

It's hardly a normal thing to do.
