Most of you know him from here https://www.pistonheads.com/gassing/topic.asp?h=0&... the guy with a great life story and an addiction to supercar purchasing, someone who 'lost' a GTO, bought an LFA, TWO Pistas, Mclarens, Astons and ANOTHER LFA, because, you know, one isn't enough.

It seems he's gone over to instadoodle and we want him back.

Fellow PHers, show your support, ask nicely, beg, plead and request his return.

Pete, we love the stories, the random purchases and your great attitude, we promise to behave ourselves, please come back.

Didn’t realise he’d left.

That’s a real shame. I enjoyed reading about Pete’s car buying exploits.

Here here! His whole thread was inspiring, from the cars to how he got to where he is today. And then you throw in Pete's health issues, to his his future plans for a hospice.........a real life super hero!!!! 😎

Whilst I enjoyed the thread, I'm not sure it's appropriate to be pressuring him to restart the thread.

He contributed a huge amount of time and effort through the many pages however he's perfectly entitled to stop at some point and I think it's bad form to beg and plead in the hope he reneges on his decision.

I thought he just said he was going to stop posting in that LFA thread, not that he was swearing off PH?

...after posting goes to make toast. Loaf out of date, bins top few mouldy slices & puts toaster on. Uses last of the emergency credit. Searches in dark for phone but no credit so off out into the rain to find a shop. Shoes leak, so called waterproof jacket from Primarni isn't really. Gets to car, fuel warning light on. Realise it's going to be a late night & you'll probably be late for work. Zero hour contract..

Yup, having money would be hell! thumbup

On topic: it was good (very) while it lasted, move on.

All he did was stop the LFA thread. For pretty good reasons as far as I can see

I’m sure he’ll keep posting, just on other threads.

Starting a thread like this is more likely to scare the poor sod off altogether than keep him around.

Don’t be a sycophant.....

I've not got to the end, but have been reading it for about a week at work now (on page 98). It was the best thread I've read on PH in a long time. I only flicked on it because I saw a Lexus LFA on the road and wondered if it was a PHer (it was an orange one so not Pete's anyway). I came for the Lexus and stayed for Pete on that thread.

Disappointed I couldn't thank him on it for being so generous with his time and sharing his experiences. So hopefully he'll see the thanks here. Followed on Instagram anyway.

And with that, we'll bring it to a close.
