Mobile site scaling change?

Hey folks

So i have noticed a number of changes to the mobile site. One of which has been driving me absolutely crazy to do with the bottom bar scaling on my phones 720p screen (Sony Xperia X Compact)



This bar used to comfortable fit on one row, with the forum, my stuff, what's new and preferences all sitting across the bottom of my screen.

Then a few weeks ago the privacy settings bar appeared, initially the placement of the lower bar didn't change, but the privacy settings blue box did overlap the what's new tab slightly, which was a minor annoyance with fat fingers. However as of this week the lower bar has changed again, now sitting across 2 rows, and privacy settings still overlapping a button, albeit preferences being one I far more seldom use. The double height bar though is driving me nuts, when I have my keyboard up the bar takes up most of the screen making it difficult to make posts. Even when just navigating through the site it takes up so much screen space now.

Is there any way you could readjust the scaling so the bar fits again on a single row, and possibly remove/move that privacy settings box to somewhere where it isn't present on my screen at all times.
