Attempted password change

Just had an email stating someone tried to reset my password. I’ve changed it myself but thought I’d let someone know.

I've just had that too. I've also changed mine.

I didn't click the link in the email, I logged on and changed it that way.

Just had this same email today, after reading this thread I will ignore it

As others have said, yes, please ignore it. No one can see your password so it's all secure still.

Ben Lowden was supposed to be investigating and was due to report back with the results (and a fix?), but no update from him since 9 April.

Have we now to assume that the techies haven't got a clue then and everyone's email/user account is at risk of being hacked?
