yes! well spotted! currently working on getting that consistent across the website, the smiley looks lots better than that blue "P" and is more consistent with the design moving forward, hope you like it!

Actually no
When you have a load of tabs open the blue P was quite noticable
The logo is so small it looks like a spider

Completely agree, especially when using a computer in 'dark mode' it basically disappears into the favourites toolbar or open tab.

I'd suggest making the smiley PH blue? Should be suitable for white and black backgrounds

I spent a few extra seconds wondering where the icon had gone too. I guess we'll get used to it quickly enough but with any type of logo you always need, in this digital world, to keep it very simple for when it is used in these small/tiny applications. PH may need a bit of branding assistance.

Nice point about dark mode, I think that was taken into consideration but not sure where we got there...something todo with the complexity around detecting which "mode" you in... also not sure how the blue will play into "making things consistent" but will make sure to have your suggestion passed over to our branding guys!

One step at the time! I said we were making efforts to make it more consistent, not more noticeable but again, will make sure to pass this one on so hopefully the guys looking after it can sort both things out!

It looks good. Only observation, if anyone is running a dark scheme on their browser, then it is sadly hard to see. I accept this might be the minority. I guess the only solution would be a white backgrokund with the logo on, maybe a roundel or something.

There are very few pixels available for that favicon. PH wouldnt be the first to use either a very simplified version of its logo (with the extremities outside the favicon) or something completely different
