Search on a mobile?

How and where is the search on the mobile version of the site?

Keep having to go into desktop mode.

Based on a moderator reply in that thread, it doesn't show on the mobile site and you have to switch to desktop. TBH if you want more accurate search results just use Google with the text / terms mentioned in the same thread above.

Yeah, aware the search is only so-so but it's handy at times too.

Have posted on the other thread. Really hope some work is done on the software this forum runs.

Hey folks!

Update on this - if you check out https://www.pistonheads.com/search (now available on desktop/mobile under the nav header > Forums > Search Forums) - you'll see we now run an embedded Google Custom Search Engine which retires the legacy Forums search..

We've done this because the prior Forums search capability wasn't particularly reliable, and we found that leveraging Google's search capability would give users a much better experience until we are able to invest in building out a fully featured PH Forums Search..

For now though, no more needing to do site : pistonheads.com searches yourself! Rejoice!
