[FIXED] Forum keeps redirecting to Password / Profile Screen

Guys,

I usually go straight to the forum I want, then sign in and all is good. Now I keep getting directed to the profile page for some reason. Its annoying. Normally its two button clicks and I am where I want to be - now its 6 or so, having to find the right menu etc.

Can we go back t how it was please?

Me too! I've had the problem of having to Login (but not actually Login) for ages now but since early yesterday evening the Login takes me straight to the account page.

If they fixed the bug that keeps logging people out, it wouldnt be so bad.

It was doing it a week or so again, it's started again.

I'm using two Windows desktops w/ Chrome & an Android mobile w/ Brave - same across all platforms.

I started a topic on this more than a week ago and it was supposed to have been fixed but now it's back again.

wrong here on Ubuntu / Chromium on desktop and portable.

Same issue on Edge 83 on Windows 10 1909 (Chromium based). Constantly signed out and when you click sign in you find you already are and presented with the profile page.

Hey folks, thanks for bringing this to our attention!

This was a regression issue that snuck in during some upgrades to other parts of the site - this has now been fixed, so should be working normally now.

Hey Podie,

To clarify, the fixed issue we are referring to here is the 'getting redirected to your account page after sign-in' (rather than the page you were originally on when clicking sign-in).

We can't reproduce that anymore our end - if you are still seeing it, care to share the repro steps in the same way OP did?

Yeah, fixed (for) now, thanks.
I was redirected to the "sign in & profile" page, but -different from last time- my Nick was already there, top right.
